Transforming Lives Through Compassionate Community Support
At MBI Health Foundation, we believe that lasting change begins by meeting immediate human needs with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Every day, we provide essential non-clinical services that remove barriers to healthcare, housing, and recovery for individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorders, and other life challenges throughout Los Angeles County.
Our work extends beyond traditional healthcare by addressing the everyday necessities that create stability, restore hope, and open the door to long-term wellness.
Our Approach
Healing begins with human connection.
Our model focuses on creating an environment where individuals feel welcomed rather than judged.
Instead of requiring people to meet complicated eligibility requirements before receiving assistance, we meet people where they are—physically, emotionally, and socially.
By addressing immediate needs first, we help create the stability necessary for long-term recovery.
Meeting Basic Needs
For many individuals, a warm meal, clean clothing, or access to a safe space is the first step toward rebuilding their lives.
These services are not typically covered by insurance, yet they are among the most important factors in helping individuals engage with healthcare, maintain stability, and move toward recovery.
