The MBI Health Foundation exists to remove barriers that prevent individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance use disorders from accessing the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Founded in 2023, the Foundation is a California charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities throughout Los Angeles County by providing essential non-clinical services that promote health, dignity, and long-term recovery.
Our work begins long before someone enters a clinic. By meeting immediate basic needs and building trusting relationships, we create meaningful pathways into healthcare, housing, behavioral health treatment, and community support.

About the Foundation
The MBI Health Foundation was created to support individuals who often fall through the cracks of traditional healthcare systems.
Working alongside our affiliated organization, MBI Health Services, Inc., we provide services that insurance programs cannot reimburse but that are essential to helping people stabilize and engage in care.
Rather than replacing healthcare services, we strengthen them by ensuring individuals have the basic necessities required to begin their journey toward recovery and wellness.
